The ultimate in golfing holidays – to Australia in July or Canada in August – will tee off with luxury in mind by organiser Intergolf New Zealand, an Auckland golf school and tour company.
The 10-day tour to Australia departs for Queensland on July 10, with 5 nights each in the Hyatt Regency Coolum and Hyatt Regency Sanctuary Cove. Golfing enthusiasts will swing their clubs on courses designed by Arnold Palmer, Robert Trent Jones jun, Peter Thompson and Jack Nicklaus.
The tour, limited to 24 golfers, is priced from $A3500 ($4430) twin share.
Intergolf New Zealand's first tour to Canada flies out on August 19 (until September 5) to Calgary, Alberta, where the group will stay in a luxury lodge in the Canadian Rockies for 5 nights, playing golf on the courses at Mt Lorette and Mt Kidd, before heading to Okanagan Lake for five nights, and five nights in the Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains.
Golfers play on several courses at each five-night stay. This tour is priced from $8000 twin share ($7000 for non-golfers).
