The Heritage Hanmer Springs has launched a gourmet series for warming up the winter evenings. Every month a wine-maker will host a dinner in the grand dining room. The Heritage's chef, Steve Kelly, will match a four-course dinner with each month's profiled wines.
Kahurangi Estate's Greg and Amanda Day will introduce the wines at the inaugural event this Friday. Other guest winemakers will include Lombardi Estate on August 4, Lintz Estate on September 1 and Okahu Estate on November 6.The Heritage Hanmer Springs is a lovingly restored landmark hotel just 90 minutes by car from Christchurch.
