For "A Day in Paradise" near Queenstown, first take time out to select your horse and saddle at Cosy Dell near Glenorchy.
Then ride across the braided Rees River, through open pasture beneath Mt Earnslaw to Diamond Lake and on to Paradise.
A catered lunch is served in an area known as the Garden of Eden with its majestic alpine backdrop.
The trip costs $175 and takes between five and six hours.
Groups are no more than five people.
