The biggest cruise ship to sail to New Zealand, P&O Cruises' new $1.1 billion mega-liner Star Princess, makes its inaugural visit in November.
Bigger than the world's largest aircraft-carrier and only 13 months old, the 109,000-tonne Star Princess will visit Tauranga, the Bay of Plenty, and will arrive in Auckland on November 23.
Cabins are now on sale and fares start from $2199 a person for a 12-night cruise including all meals and entertainment.
The Star Princess, now cruising in Alaskan waters and the Mexican Riviera, is more than twice as big as the legendary Titanic and carries 2600 passengers and 1100 crew.
