ROAM has 15 trips to choose from, covering Thailand, Vietnam, India, China, Laos and Nepal. Accommodation is in homestays, guesthouses and well-located hotels or even very basic accommodation in hilltribe villages. On the subject of transport, the Roam Asia brochure says: You name it, we use it.
Accommodation isn't flash but is always clean, centrally located and full of character. Sharing a bus or train with the locals is the best way to get to know them, ROAM says.
