In support of the Young Farmer of the Year finals, Mainstreets Hastings is bringing the country to town with a Gumboot Day.

July 5 will be a fun-filled day of farming activities, with horse and cart rides, farm animals, The Farmers' Market, tractor displays, and fun rides right in Hastings City Square.

Wear your gumboots and best farming gear, and make sure you enter the draw for a chance to win a gift pack of Hawke's Bay wine. The event runs 11am to 1pm.
