Get arty on the North Shore

The Mairangi Arts Centre is administered by a non-profit trust aiming to foster visual arts on the North Shore.

Entry is free. There's a cafe on site, and the centre offers classes as well as a school holiday programme. It's open 9.30am to 4pm Monday to Saturday (gallery, cafe) and 1.30pm to 4pm Sunday (gallery only). It's closed on public holidays, over the Christmas/New Year period, Easter, Labour Day and Queen's Birthday weekends.
