Garden strolls in the Far North

Take a leisurely stroll through eight private harbourside gardens in Whangarei this Friday.

One of the last events for the Northland city's summer celebrations, the garden tour is open from 10am to 4pm.

You can visit the gardens any time - there's no rushing to catch a bus to the next stop. All the gardens are near Whangarei's harbour, and are opening to the public for the first time.
