Fun on the slopes at the Remarkables Spring Carnival

The Remarkables Spring Carnival on September 18 and 19 marks the start of spring skiing, with two days of wild and wacky events, including the Great Remarkables Raft Race.

September 18 is also the start of Mt Hutt's Spring Break, a fortnight of silliness that includes events such as the Downhill Dummy Race and the endurance-testing Peak to Pub.

The pace is more laid-back at Whakapapa this Saturday, with the Montana Jazz Day.
