Full steam ahead for Rotorua's past

Te Amorangi Museum in Rotorua is the venue for a model train extravaganza at Anzac Weekend. Many model steam and electric locos will be on show, with some in action.

Exhibits in the museum depict rural life in the 1900s, with steam and stationary engines, forestry and agricultural displays, and a 1920s street. There will also be entertainment and art and craft. Admission is by gold coin donation.
