Freedom fares go solo

Freedom Air is to offer one-way fares and remove requirements for overnight stays, both effective from today.

The cut-price airline, which began domestic services in May, previously offered only return fares, and all fares had a requirement for a minimum one-night stay.

The new one-way fare, when booked by telephone, from Auckland to Christchurch is $89, from Auckland to Wellington, $75, and Wellington to Christchurch, $59.
