Fellow passengers: Rick and Grace from Atlanta are doing a whirlwind trip of NZ and Aussie. They loved Queenstown and are looking forward to two days in Auckland before flying to Melbourne.
How full? Extremely — you'd be lucky if there was a spare seat next to you.
Entertainment: None provided so I edited my holiday snaps on my iPhone.
The service: Good staff who managed a packed plane politely and efficiently.
Check in experience: At Queenstown I arrived with just over an hour until boarding. Due to the summer season plenty of people were also flying Jetstar to Sydney. All Auckland passengers were called to an express lane to check in. I went from near the back to the front.
Food and drink: Coffee, tea and sandwiches available for you to buy.
The bottom line: Cheap, cheerful and better than driving.
