My seat: 17A, a window seat just behind the wing.
Fellow passengers: More than 40 people on the plane - myself included - were travelling for the Jacob's Creek Global Table wine and food event in the Barossa. The group was made up of media, competition winners, brand ambassadors and "social influencers", the latter of whom let no selfie opportunity go to waste. We definitely made for a diverse flight - the group comprised people from 13 countries, including Estonia, Serbia, China, Sweden, Thailand and the US. Plus a few Kiwis and Aussies thrown in for good measure.
Entertainment: The excellent Qantas Spirit of Australia in-flight magazine, plus Sky News and a couple of lifestyle shows playing on the drop-down TV screens. Headphones were complimentary.
The service: Great; friendly and fast.
Food and drink: Even though the flight was domestic and took less than 90 minutes, all passengers were offered food, free of charge. The choice was between a continental breakfast or an egg and bacon panini, plus tea, coffee or juice. The panini was piping hot and the right side of greasy - perfect for lining the stomach ahead of a day of wine tasting.
The toilets: I didn't get there, the flight wasn't long enough to warrant the hassle of disrupting my neighbours to get out from the window seat.
Luggage: One checked bag and one piece of hand luggage.
The airport experience: Check in at Melbourne's Tullamarine Airport was bound to be a trial - we were a large group all checking in together. The event organisers had pre-booked a group check-in, which takes place at a standalone desk, but the designated ground crew member wasn't there to meet us. When he finally arrived, it was smooth and fast, despite our large number, leaving us plenty of time to browse the domestic terminal's great selection of shops and cafes.
Landing at Adelaide's domestic terminal, our bags arrived quickly and we were on our coach transfer and out of the city in no time.
Would I fly again? Yes. Qantas' domestic service is excellent and it's great having food and entertainment included in your fare.
Princess Diana stayed there, and now so have I.
