Seat: 49K. A window seat. However, the plane was half empty (a rarity I was told) so my two daughters and I spread out, giving us two rows between the three of us which was wonderful. The staff were happy for me to inflate and use the "fly-tot" device which allowed Miss 8 to put her feet up and was much appreciated! flytot.com
Design: A palette of pinks, blues and greys makes for restful and modern decor. Although these planes are put through heavy usage, the plane felt new, clean and well-appointed.
The bathrooms were kept clean with nice-smelling toiletries!
Food: Not bad as far as economy plane food goes. The girls had opted for the kids' meal which they loved. Well put-together with even the fussiest of appetites taken into consideration.
Extras: The amenity kit was much appreciated as was the great range of entertainment.
Full points to Emirates for their attentive treatment of the kids. Not only were they give an activity set and their own blanket (stuffed inside a soft toy) the polaroid snap staff came and took was a great touch.
