Flower power at Ellerslie

The Ellerslie Flower Show this year promises a glimpse of New Zealand 200 million years ago.

The ASB Discovery Marquee is to be fitted out as a landscape discovery tour that begins in Gondwanaland and leads into the future.

More than 7000 plants, including 7m trees kept alive by 20,000 litres of water circulating every hour, will be used in the display. The show is at the Auckland Regional Botanical Gardens from November 22 to 26. For tickets ph (09) 309 7875.
