Hunter Valley wines are likely to be a lot easier to taste after a meeting between the burghers of the Australian wine region and Auckland mayors.

More than 1000 people travel between Auckland and the Hunter region every week and the Australians came seeking support for direct flights between Auckland and Newcastle.
