Fiji's Sheraton resorts hit by labour dispute

SUVA - Sheraton Denarau's 3 resorts are being manned by a skeleton staff following yesterday's walkout by almost 200 workers.

The workers are protesting against pay deductions and the promotion of a junior officer to reservations manager.

Management has defended the promotion saying the individual is capable and ready to handle the position.

And it says the workers did not follow proper procedure regarding their pay deductions.
