The Travel Agents Association says holiday makers can decide for themselves whether Fiji is a safe destination.
Foreign Affairs Minister Phil Goff says agents should be discouraging people from visiting the islands.

She says the Association has had no clear directive from the Government on the dangers of visiting Fiji and says tourists can make up their own minds about the potential risks.
