Festival of words in Wairarapa

Wairarapa's reading festival Yarns in Barns kicks off with a literary debate in the Martinborough Wine Centre on May 14. The evening starts with book signings and drinks, then Georgina Beyer presides over a fun debate with writers, reviewers, storytellers and business people tackling the topic You Are What You Read.

Yarns in Barns continues until May 22, with book launches, storytelling and other events in various locations throughout the Wairarapa.
