There will be some familiar and famous faces in the hallways and decks of the all-suite Seven Seas Navigator when she makes her 105-night world voyage next year.
Split into five segments, the journey will not just be a relaxing and luxurious holiday for the 490 passengers, but a chance to enjoy entertainment ranging from music to politics and the wit of some better-known commentators and authors.
The celebrity guest programme includes Don Hewitt, of television programme 60 Minutes; Kitty Kelley, author of biographies on Nancy Reagan and the royal family; William J. Crow jun, the former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, ambassador to Britain and admiral in the US Navy; and Daniel J. Boorstin, author.
Those who cannot stay aboard for the entire journey can choose from the five segments. New Zealanders hopping across the Tasman to board the ship in Sydney to take the final three legs of the journey to Fort Lauderdale, will spend $US25,525 ($61,739) each, double occupancy, and get a $US400 ($967) shipboard credit for each person by paying the booking deposit by credit card.
