After almost 30 years of taking small groups of adventurers to the world's most remote locations, World Expeditions has launched into family adventures.
The family trips are part of a new programme of special-interest itineraries, including archaeology trips, natural history trips, cultural tours and "soft" adventures for the over-50s.
This year they will include three departures of a 14-day wildlife safari through the game parks of Tanzania, the first in the July school holidays. The trip includes all accommodation, park fees, camping equipment, food and transport and costs $5250 for adults and $3800 for children under 12, from Nairobi.
