But don't let the change in seasons stop you from exploring our great outdoors.
Got To Get Out, a New Zealand social adventure group that aims to get Kiwis off their devices and into the outdoors, has partnered with Torpedo7 to bring more than 100 free events to its members. The aim of Got to Get Out is to improve mental and physical health statistics in New Zealand, and the events will include hiking, mountain-biking, paddle-boarding, skiing and snowboarding. Torpedo7 stores will also host workshops, to help upskill and connect those who don't have the experience to get out on their own.
We caught up with Got to Get Out Founder Robert Bruce to find out his top five adventure spots around New Zealand.
