Though it's the size of Jamaica, Godzilla comes without the friendly locals and balmy climate.
Godzilla, an iceberg officially called B-15, was 300km by 30km when it split from the Ross Sea ice shelf earlier this year. The ice, now broken in two, has headed 50km northwest.
Scientists are planning a full-scale investigation this Antarctic summer season, in October.
The New Zealand-based Heritage Expeditions is offering travellers the opportunity to get close to this frozen floating island on two of its wildlife cruises aboard the refurbished Akademik Shokalsky.
