Exhibitions of clothes and toys in Liverpool

Leading British designer Vivienne Westwood is celebrating her 60th birthday with a four-month exhibition in the Liverpool Museum of her clothes from the 80s and 90s. She will also create four new collections and open new shops in New York and Milan.

Meanwhile, the Museum of Liverpool Life and the Merseyside Maritime Museum have exhibitions until October 28 featuring 20th-century British toys, including Dinky toy model vehicles, Hornby trains and Meccano construction kits.
