Exclusive resort for Queenstown

An exclusive luxury resort is to be built on Queenstown Hill, above Queenstown.

Former Australian and now Queenstown-based developer Matt Davies and two offshore partners from Singapore and Australia yesterday closed a deal with Queenstown Lakes District Council to buy 3.4ha for $3.1 million.

The proposed resort will be along similar lines to Glenorchy's Blanket Bay and Matakauri Lodge, on Glenorchy Rd
