Escape the hubbub

Tapapakanga Regional Park is only 70km from Auckland on the Firth of Thames but seems a world away from the bustle of the city.

It features rolling farmland, forested river valleys and expansive coastal views as well as a historic beachfront homestead and a coast fringed by magnificent pohutukawa.

There are two camping sites, a safe swimming beach, and coastal and farm loop walks.
