Enlightening fair in Christchurch

Celebrate Buddha's birthday in the centre of Christchurch this Saturday with entertainment and education about Buddhist culture and beliefs.

A vegetarian food fair and an exhibition of Buddhist artefacts are part of the all-day event in Cathedral Square, beginning at 10.30am.

The event is free, and arranged by the Buddha's Light International Association of New Zealand, though donations are welcomed.
