No less than 50 years

Disney theme parks in California, Florida, Tokyo and Paris have begun months of events and parties to celebrate 50 years of magic.

Touted as the happiest celebration on Earth, all the parks will pay tribute to Walt Disney's Disneyland, the original park that introduced a new kind of family entertainment.

Celebrations have just begun and, over the next 18 months, the parks will premiere new shows and attractions. The fifth Disney World will open in Hong Kong in September.
