A Fijian resort is apologising to its guests for any disruptions while a new swimming pool is being built, by offering all meals, including afternoon teas, free. Those travelling to Fiji and staying in the Tokoriki Island Resort will be housed in bures as far away as possible
from the new pool's construction site, and will still have use of the resort's present swimming pool.
For bookings made for travel until March 31, a package includes seven nights' accommodation and return airfares from Auckland, from $2289 each, twin-share. For travel from Wellington or Christchurch, add $100 each. Departure taxes and surcharges are not included.
On arrival in Fiji, two nights are spent at Tanoa International Hotel in Nadi before travelling to the Tokoriki Island Resort for five nights.
