An exhibition honouring 29 East Coast identities opens at Gisborne's Tairawhiti Museum on Friday.
The exhibition is the first of its kind and includes memorabilia and photos of sportspeople, musicians, artists, politicians and statesmen.
Organised by the Pride in Gisborne Trust, the exhibition runs until May 19.
