Caterpillar Experience in Rotorua

Rotorua's new all-weather attraction is the Caterpillar Experience, which shows how these huge earth-moving machines helped to shape modern New Zealand.

Over 30 refurbished Caterpillars and other vintage vehicles are showcased in recreated landscapes, surrounded by audio-visual displays and storyboards.

The attraction is open daily 8.30am - 5.30pm.
