No visit to the coastal city of Dubrovnik is complete without walking the historic 16th century Dubrovnik Walls, $50.

Since much of your budget is going on a high-end breakfast and access to the walls, a cheap eat is a must for lunch. Locals and tourists alike flock to Presa for hearty sandwiches, burgers and salads; you'd have to order up large to spend more than $10.

Take in the sunset at Dubravka 1836 Restaurant & Cafe, on the terrace close to the edge (you'll need to book for a prime spot like that). They serve fresh grilled seafood, but the prudent traveller should go for the pizza, which comes in at around $20. Set aside another $20 for drinks.
