World Puppet Festival

The event rooms, sports halls, streets and courtyards of picturesque Charleville Mezieres will be filled will the magic of puppetry during this wonderful biennial festival, which attracts puppeteers and enthusiasts from all over the world.
This year marks the 50th anniversary so the programme will be more vibrant and creative than ever, with 600 artists from twenty-eight nations.
The festival embraces modern and traditional forms, ranging from string to glove puppets, from shadow to giant puppets, and from real objects to on-screen images.
