Sydney's summer heats up during this fabulous cultural kaleidoscope of theatre, music, dance and visual arts featuring more than 300 performances and 80 events.
It opens with the Festival First Night, a free celebration of music, dance and visual spectacle in the streets and parks of central Sydney. Other free events include concerts in The Domain at the Royal Botanic Gardens, while the ticketed programme ranges from intimate theatre to large concerts.
A major hub is the Festival Garden in Hyde Park, home to the Festival Bar and The Famous Spiegeltent, a gorgeous mirrored tent that hosts a lively programme of burlesque and music.
