It should have been packed with families enjoying a day out at what is dubbed the happiest place on earth.
But after temperatures soared to a staggering 114F (45C) in California on Friday, Disneyland in Anaheim was left almost deserted, MailOnline Travel reports.
The Disney park was said to have recorded its hottest day on record - and visitors decided to stay in air conditioned comfort rather than brave the oppressive outdoor temperatures.
For those who did venture into the theme park, they reported that waiting times for the most popular rides were down significantly and many were able to walk straight on them.
In addition, Theme Park Insider claimed that several all-outdoor attractions, including the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad had to be closed due to the heat.
