Roll up your sleeves and hunker down in the dust to unearth the mysteries of the age of the dinosaurs.
Join the experts from Alberta's Tyrrell Dinosaur Museum at Drummheller, for a day or two in the dinosaur beds of western Canada. Join a dinosaur excavation and help to uncover the palaeontological history of Alberta.
You will be working side-by-side with museum staff excavating real dinosaur bones, learning technical skills such as the mapping and jacketing of fossils.
The Day Digs run from June 30 to September 2 and cost $C85 ($135.50) for adults and $55 ($87.70) for 10- to 15-year-olds. The price includes lunch and snacks. Greyhound buses run daily from downtown Calgary to Drumheller.
