A Delta Airlines flight attendant faces being fired after video emerged of him having sex with a male porn star inside an aircraft lavatory, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.
Furious bosses launched an investigation after clips of the mile-high romp were posted online and spotted by shocked colleagues.
The attendant was off duty but wearing his Delta uniform when he hooked up with passenger and adult performer Austin Wolf, according to the Daily Mail.
The two men are believed to have nipped to a bathroom mid-flight where they spent more than eight minutes locked inside the tiny space.
Two different clips of their steamy encounter were later posted on Twitter where they were soon reported to the airline: slogan "Keep Climbing".
Sources say the cabin crew member, a recent hire in his 20s, told Delta chiefs he had no idea the encounter was being filmed - and had no part in posting it online.
The blue movies have since been taken down but the employee was suspended pending a full investigation into a breach of the company's standards of behavior.
DailyMail.com understands that Delta will also consult legal experts as part of their probe in case the posting of the video without consent broke so-called "revenge porn" laws.
New York-based Wolf, who has appeared in numerous hardcore porn films and advertises his services online as a US$1,200-per night "rent boy", refused to discuss the rendezvous when reached by DailyMail.com.
The 6ft 4in porn star's distinctive tattoos, including a heart with 'mom' written inside it and a tribal design etched across his stomach, are clearly visible in the clips, each four minutes and 18 seconds long.
DailyMail.com is choosing not to identify the suspended flight attendant because he says he did not consent to having the footage made public.
"I just want to be left alone please," he said via a WhatsApp exchange, adding: "I'm just trying to get my life back on track."
Insiders at the country's oldest and second biggest airline said the clips were shared between staff who even marked the tryst with a comedy meme.
"If the two guys had gone into the stall, done their thing and discreetly left it at that, maybe he would have gotten away with it," dished a source.
"But when the clips were posted online it spread around the airline like wildfire. Someone even put together a meme along the lines of this man's career going down the toilet.
"It was such a stupid thing to do - and then to have it posted online, the poor guy must be mortified."
A spokesman for Delta said: "This video does not reflect the standards of professionalism expected of our employees while representing the Delta brand or traveling as passengers on Delta aircraft.
"We have suspended the employee and are conducting a full investigation."
According to 2011 survey, more than 95 percent of travelers are interested in joining the Mile High Club and as many as one in five claim they have tried it.
However legal experts say frisky passengers risk being hit with indecent exposure charges or even interfering with the flight crew, which carries a maximum 20-year jail sentence, if they get caught.
In October 2013 Christopher Martin and Jessica Stroble were each fined US$250 for engaging in oral sex in front of other passengers on an Allegiant Air flight from Medford, Oregon to Las Vegas.
Last November an unnamed man and woman received FBI citations for lewd and lascivious behavior and disorderly conduct after they were spotted having sex on a Delta flight from Los Angeles to Detroit.
And in March of this year, two strangers who were filmed having sex aboard a packed Virgin Atlantic jet from London to Cancun were met by Mexican police when they landed.
The amorous pair were banned from future Virgin flights because of "disruptive behavior."
