Curly club have a go day

The fine art of curling is not just synonymous with the deep south.

Auckland has a curling club, though it has to rely on manufactured ice to form its playground.

The club is holding a "Have a Go Day" on Saturday.

The free event is from 5.30pm to 7.30pm at the Paradice Ice Arena, 150 Lansford Cres, Avondale.
