NZ Herald Focus was recently invited on board P&O Cruises' Pacific Pearl for the announcement of the first ever cruise from New Zealand to the Melbourne Cup - with some miniature equine guests trotting on board for the occasion.
A 6000 strong contingent will cruise to the Cup in November this year on the Pacific Jewel, with tickets and transfers to Flemington Racecourse included in the fares.
