More than 100,000 spectators are expected at the Cook Island Kia Orana Festival of the Arts in Mangere.
Over 2500 participants are refining their art and performances for the event which will fill the Mangere town centre, leisure centre and carpark area on September 27 and 28.
Several islands and villages of the Cooks will be represented alongside artists from around New Zealand and across the Tasman.
Competitions will include dance, song, a floral parade, arts and crafts and hymns.
