Club Med and Garuda offer free Bali upgrade

Club Med has teamed up with Garuda Indonesia to offer New Zealanders the bonus of free upgrades to business class when travelling on a Club Med package holiday to Nusa Dua in Bali.

The promotion was run earlier in the year and was so popular that Club Med and Garuda wish to run it again!

Nusa Dua is now one of New Zealanders most popular Club Med destinations. It is rated as a "four trident" village which makes it one of Club Med's best, in all respects.

Extensive renovations were completed last year, retaining favourite aspects but updating facilities and decor. These renovations have further accentuated the village's traditional Balinese architecture.

Apart from Club Med villages being well attuned to New Zealand lifestyles, one reason for the booming popularity is that holiday packages covering air
fares, accommodation, food and drinks (with meals), and most activities are costed in New Zealand dollars and paid fully in advance.

This means that we are not vulnerable to falling exchange rates or other currency problems while overseas.

Families are especially welcome at Club Med villages and Nusa Dua is a popular choice for New Zealand families.

Youngsters have a mighty time in the Petit Club (two and three years), Mini Club (4-7 years) and Kids Club (8-11 years).

Each of these is supervised by trained and qualified GO's, with exciting activities planned to suit each age group. The day's programme could range from beach volleyball and kayaking through to creative painting.

For older children there's the exciting challenge of Club Med's renowned Circus School.

If you don't have kids, there's plenty to do. Club Med Nusa Dua offers an incredible array of water sport, land based activities and excursions.

Excursions include a half-day in the monkey forest, rafting the Agung River and four wheel driving through the pristine hinterland.

There are also longer trips to other islands, notably a one-day heritage tour to Jogjakarta and Borobudur in Java.

The special upgrade offer is for new reservations for travel ex Auckland, commencing 13 October - 12 December 2001 and 2 February - 16 March 2002.
