The highlight of the climb up the inside of Auckland Sky Tower's mast is the point when you step outside on to the highest outdoor public viewing platform in the Southern Hemisphere - 300m above sea level.
Sky Tower recently launched the "Sky Jump", and has just begun taking tourists and brave locals to even greater heights with the new attraction, appropriately named "Vertigo".
The 44m climb inside the tower's mast is available from 9am to 9pm every day, with no age limit. It takes two hours and costs $95, or $55 for children under 15. A family pass (two adults, two children) costs $275.
