City canyoning

Brave the season's low temperatures and plunge into Blue Canyon in the Waitakere Ranges west of Auckland.

A full day of canyoning costs $135, or take half a day for $105, with all equipment supplied, warming food and drinks, and transport to and from inner-city Auckland. Trips depart in almost all weathers.

All you need is suitable footwear for hiking and getting wet, swimwear and a warm change of clothes.
