Christmas fiesta in Hastings

The Waikoko Gardens in Hastings brightens up with the Fiesta of Lights, December 13-January 3.

Thousands of twinkling lights adorn the gardens and lakeside walkways, and live entertainment is held every night, including Christmas Day.

The fiesta kicks off with carols by candlelight, with the Hastings Citizens Band. Santa arrives to flick the switch at 9.30pm for the fiesta to begin.

Admission $2, but price increases may apply for special events.
