The Taiwanese carrier China Airlines has begun services between Auckland, Sydney and Taipei three times a week.
The MD11 Trijets will leave Taipei every Sunday, Tuesday and Friday, arriving in Auckland on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
Return flights leave on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday evenings.
A Sydney-Taipei service will replace the two weekly flights by China Airlines subsidiary Mandarin Airlines, which also uses MD11 aircraft.
