1 Unwind in the wilderness
A short drive from the city lies Brisbane's Scenic Rim region where you'll find national parks, local wineries and quaint country towns. The delightful Nightfall Wilderness Camp is nestled in Queensland's ancient Lamington National Park and offers guests the ultimate "glamping" experience. Get back to nature, while enjoying the comfort and luxury of your own safari-style tent. The camp is limited to only six travellers at any one time, which means you're pretty much guaranteed privacy, intimacy and conviviality.

2 View from from the top
The cliffs of Brisbane's Kangaroo Pt provide the perfect vantage point over the river city. Enjoy a picnic or coffee at the top of the cliffs or test your relationship with an action packed abseil or rock climb. Riverlife Adventure Centre will teach you the ropes and guide you through the adrenaline-fuelled experience, which will hopefully strengthen your relationship, not strain it!

3 Cruise the River City
The Brisbane River pretty much dominates the city, and you shouldn't miss the opportunity to get out on it. Jump on board the iconic Kookaburra Queen paddleboat which will take you on a journey past some of the area's best sights including the CBD, Riverside, Botanical Gardens, Kangaroo Cliffs, South Bank precinct and the Story Bridge. There are a few available and we like the sound of its City Lights Dinner Cruise which operates on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. You'll be served a three-course meal, with seafood platters available, while live entertainers get the party moving and grooving. Oysters anyone?
