Autumn Gold is the theme for Eastwoodhill Arboretum's annual fair this Sunday at Ngatapa, near Gisborne. Set within 100ha, the arboretum is home to New Zealand's largest collection of trees from the Northern Hemisphere.
The celebration includes competitions, stalls, food and wine, music and a wearable art show. Admission to the arboretum is free from 11am to 4pm, and buses will leave from the Gisborne Information Centre.
The arboretum raises funds with morning and afternoon teas, lunches and a gold coin collection.
