Cathay Pacific Airways raised more than $HK4.4 million ($1.3 million) for Unicef last year through its Change for Good inflight fund-raising programme.
Since the programme was introduced in 1991, Cathay Pacific has raised a total of $HK32 million for the fund.
The programme invites passengers to donate spare money which is used to support Unicef's children welfare programmes in 161 developing countries.
The average proceeds of one month (about $HK670,000) are donated to the Cathay Pacific Wheelchair Bank to support Hong Kong children suffering from neuromuscular disease.
The bank supplies specially adapted wheelchairs to these children to improve their quality of life.
