Buena Vista in Ocker

A little bit of Cuban music and a little bit of Melbourne are on sale for February next year.

Herald music writer Graham Reid will lead the three-day tour to take in the Buena Vista Social Club, a concert by Ibrahim Ferrer, Omara Portuondo and Ruben Gonzalez, accompanied by a 15-piece Cuban orchestra at the Melbourne Concert Hall.

The tour leaves from Auckland on February 22, returning on February 25.

The cost is $1399 each, twin share, from Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch, and includes airfares, three nights' accommodation, return transfers, and the concert ticket.
