In London you can take in one of the most important archaeological finds in recent times. Freighted from China for exhibiting in Piccadilly, 35 sculptures make up the exhibition at the Royal Academy until July 14.
The discovery in 1996 of 400 Chinese stone sculptures, intricately carved and adorned buddhas, captured the world's imagination. Uncovered at the Longxing Temple site, the sculptures had been entombed there for nearly 1000 years.
Admission to the exhibition is £7.50 ($22.40).
